How far back?

 

We can usually trace most English family trees to at least as far back as 1837, and often much earlier.

 

Fortunately, a good number of the Devon parish registers survive from 1538, and this has enabled us to take many trees back into the 1500s.

 

Our services

 

Many clients find it's best to start with our preliminary research plan - where we carry out a preliminary assessment of your neeeds, and provide you with a research plan for future work.

 

Alternatively, choose from an hourly research service (which can be specially tailored to your needs) or one of our family tree packages - if you would like to book a full family history project.

 

We can carry out specialist research online in the office, go out on location, or visit the Devon archives  - whatever suits your particular requirements.

 

We also offer a high quality location photography service within the county of Devon.  

 

Please note that we do not usually travel outside the county, nor do we carry out research on living people.

Minimum fee

​

Our minimum fee for all of our services is based on 4 hours of work (£172.00). Our fees are £43.00 per hour plus expenses.
