We charge £43.00 per hour plus expenses for each of our hourly research services:  desk research, archive research in Devon and location research in Devon.

Minimum fee

Our minimum fee is £86.00 (2 hours), plus expenses, unless it is for a vist to an archive/repository or a location which is over 30 miles from our office.

For all visits to archives/repositories or locations over 30 miles from our office, there is a minimum fee of 3 hours (£129.00) plus expenses.

Mileage and travel time charges

We charge mileage at the rate of 45p per mile. Travel time is charged at the rate of £10.00 per hour.

VAT

We do not charge VAT.

Payments

Clients are asked to pay a deposit before any work is commenced, followed by stage payments. Please contact us to discuss your project and payment amounts, before you order.
